‘Please let us go, honest to god’: Robin Uthappa needs BCCI to permit Indian gamers in international leagues – cricket


India batsman Robin Uthappa on Friday stated that he needs the Board of Management of Cricket in India (BCCI) to vary its ruling on abroad T20 leagues. The BCCI doesn’t permit Indian gamers to take part in international T20 tournaments reminiscent of Huge Bash League (BBL), Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Mzansi Tremendous League (South Africa), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and so on. Former India allrounder Yuvraj Singh was given a No Objection Certificates (NOC) by the board to play in International T20 Canada final 12 months after he introduced his retirement from all codecs of cricket, together with the Indian Premier League.

Talking in an interview to BBC, Uthappa stated: “Please let us go, honest to God. It does hurt when we’re not allowed to go and play … It would be so nice if we could go and play at least a couple of others because as a student of the game you want to learn and grow as much as you can.”

Uthappa’s remarks got here just some days after an analogous suggestion was made by Suresh Raina in an Instagram Dwell chat with former India allrounder Irfan Pathan.
